Seattle’s offense exploded early and never looked back as Sam

 Darnold delivered a near-perfect performance, leading the Seahawks

 to a commanding 38-14 victory over Washington.

The Week 9 Sunday Night Football matchup at Northwest Stadium

in Landover, Maryland saw the Seattle Seahawks (6-2) overpower

the Washington Commanders (3-6). Seattle scored 31 points in the 

first half alone, putting the game out of reach before halftime.

Seattle opened the scoring with a 4-yard touchdown pass from Sam

 Darnold to rookie Tory Horton.

In the second quarter, Darnold threw three more touchdown passes:


  • A 25-yard strike to Horton

  • A 60-yard bomb to Cody White

Washington responded with a 1-yard touchdown run by Jayden
