Early Life and Education

Ryan Joseph Fitzpatrick was born on November 24, 1982, in Gilbert, Arizona. A standout student-athlete, he attended Highland High School before enrolling at Harvard University, where he majored in economics and played quarterback for the Crimson. In 2004, he earned Ivy League Player of the Year honors and was named First-Team All–Ivy League.



NFL Career Journey

Fitzpatrick was selected in the seventh round of the 2005 NFL Draft (250th overall) by the St. Louis Rams. Over the next 17 seasons, he played for nine different NFL teams—an unprecedented feat that earned him the nickname “Fitzmagic” for his unpredictable brilliance and resilience.
